Tchaikovsky - One Of Opera's Golden Sons

If you have ever heard of the Nutcracker ballet, or you have ever see it, then you are well aware of who Tchaikovsky was. He was very famous for this piece of work and many individuals know this name. This is true even if they have never seen it. He did his work during the Romantic period and he was able to produce many ballets, operas and symphonies.

From 1867 to 1878 this amazing composer continued to do the work that he really enjoyed and he completed many wonderful pieces during this time. These included the First Piano Concerto, The Little Russian and even Swan Lake. Many people can tell you that they have actually heard of the ballet Swan Lake even if they have never seen it or they know nothing about the ballet.

The 1812 Overture is one of his very famous pieces that most people will hear and tell you that they are familiar with. You can hear it on the television from time to time and it has been used in a number of different ways. Sleeping Beauty, the ballet, was also composed by this famous artist. Most people are not aware of this fact and they are shocked when they find out.

There are some famous operas that people will place with his name. One of these is The Queen of Spades. This is one of the more famous opera works and those individuals that know the opera are probably very familiar with this opera.

Most people will hear Tchaikovsky and they will automatically think about the ballet. In fact, there are a lot of people that do not know that this man was actually very influential in many other arts as well. He was able to create a great deal of piano pieces while he was alive and working. He was able to create more than 100 of these as he worked and contributed to society. There are a lot of his songs that you will be able to pick out of movies and television but you might not be aware of the fact that it is Tchaikovsky. Now, maybe you will pay more attention to what you are listening to and if Tchaikovsky created it. His works really have lasted for centuries.
