Learn To Tune A Guitar The Right Way

Playing the guitar is fun. I am not a professional player. Playing the guitar is one of the most popular hobbies in the world. Millions of people play the guitar as a leisure activity. Playing the guitar is not a male only sport. It is for anyone with a love of music. One of the vital part of learning a guitar is tuning it the correctly. Tuning the guitar can provide an impression to a lot of guitar learners to be difficult to learn. Tuning the guitar is not that hard. Here, are easy tips to tune the guitar correctly:

1. The first thing that a guitar player do is to know if the guitar is tuned or not. The guitar is not tuned correctly if the chords are played and the sound is not right. It means that a guitar player needs to tune his or her guitar.

2. The sixth string is the string that is always on the right tune.

3. In tuning the fifth string, guitar players must place a finger on the sixth string and the fifth fret of the guitar. Then strike the sixth string and after that strike the fifth string. Make sure that the sound that they create is the same. Adjust the string, depending on the pitch that was generated by the guitar.

4. Then do the same method on the fourth and third strings by placing the higher string in the fifth string and striking it.

5. In tuning the second string, a guitar player can place a finger on the third string on the fourth fret. Tighten or loosen the third string to make the sound the same.

6. To tune the first string. A guitar player must place a finger on the second string. Then press on the fifth fret. Then strike the first string open. Tighten or loosen the second string make the sound similar.

7. Check if the guitar is in tune by trying a chord. If the guitar still does not sound right. Do the process again until we will be able to tune the guitar.

This is the simplest way to tune a guitar. Once a newbie guitar player learn how to tune a guitar, learning to play it will be easier.
