Once again, Apple is the toast of the techno-loving community around the globe. They never fail to disappoint and have a track record of going from one hugely successful product to the next, each a little better than its predeccesor. The ipod Touch 8gb is another triumph for the Apple company and is in such demand worldwide that many consumers can't get their hands on one fast enough. The iPod touch 8gb is hot!
What hits you first when you open the box, is the gorgeous styling. Leaving behind their traditional signature line of white plastic products, Apple have introduced a contemporary and smart new design, featuring and slimline, slick body which is all black glass and shiny metal. It looks fabulous. The product also comes with up-to-the-minute earbud headphones, a very good syncing/charging cable and a wee touch-sized dock adapter if you want to connect to iPod speakers.
Getting the iPod Touch 8gb set-up is easy. But do take the time to get your head around all the different new virtual buttons and settings. You'll be glad you did. Connect up to your computer and hook into iTunes while you're setting up. This will pave the way for the easiest transfer of your favourite music and video files.
Make sure you are running the lastest version of iTunes. You will have a number of different options for downloading music - choose whichever is the easiest. And don't forget your favorite photographs! You can tell iTunes which ones you want synchronized and bring them over to the iPod - they look great too.
The next most exciting feature is the the video section. Select available videos in the same way you scroll through songs: with your finger. Everything is controlled through a light touch. How's video quality? It surpassed my expectations significantly. It's excellent.
If I had a gripe about the Ipod Touch 8gb, it would only be that here is no memory card slot to add extra gigs of storage. Other than that, I'm completely sold. Its gorgeous, very easy to use, has a huge 3.5" LCD screen and most importantly, the sound quality is simply superb. Anybody lucky enough to get one for Christmas will be purring.
