Love In The Sticks: My Favorite Country Romance

By Rafael Kelly

Love songs are probably not the first thing that comes to mind when you think of country music. That's ending now. Today's Top 5 will have you swaying with your love to country like you never have before.

1. Let's Make Love by Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. Country's hottest couple sings one of country's sexiest and to the point love songs. The video is a must see and will get you in the mood immediately. Their connection is deep and sultry and makes you want to grab your love and have a night filled with lovemaking.

2. Unanswered Prayers by Garth Brooks. When we start on life's journey we think we know what we want. As we go down the road we are often thankful we didn't get it because we now see the much better that was in store for us. The love we chased was not the true love we ultimately found.

3. You're Still The One by Shania Twain. This ballad is for those that were told they would never make it. They did not listen to the nay sayers and instead made their own path and even after all these years they are still together in spite of it all. Shania partially cheers you on to be one of the couples that make it.

4. Amazed by Lonestar. Just a touch says how much you love me. Hearing your thoughts and seeing your dreams with every day getting better. Everything about you holds me and takes my breath away. Maybe that's a fantasy, but it can feel like the first time over and over with the one you love.

5. Whatever It Is by Zac Brown Band. "Everything I wanted to say to a woman, but I couldn't find the words to say." You can't always describe what it is that draws you to a person. It's just whatever it is that is drawing you. Try to say what you feel and it comes out I love you.

Danced with your love didn't you? Those ditties are just the beginning. If you are looking for great love songs, country music has them for you.
